Progress Update 2


Hey Community, here the newest progression update for Waidmann.

Let's start with the tiny change:

  • The game has now a logo! Not fantastic, but I think it's ok.
  • Added some new grass and environment details for the current map
  • fix some bugs in the ai-pathfinding and bullet-spawn-system
  • added ibax and deer males as new animals. The AI use the same behaviour like the deers. So nothing special.
  • increased map size from 2000x2000 to 8000x8000

Let's switch to the big changes

Translation:

From my work as software-developer I know that it can be tricky to translate some product in a late development stage. So I decide to start early on with an i18n-Translation-System to translate the whole UI. For that, I use the following free Unity asset. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/localization/translation-system-i18n...

The asset is not perfect (dropdown menus can not be translated), but it´s works for the most stuff. The currently used language is based on the system language. In the future I implement an language selection menu.

The old color scheme was more bluish and clean. I change it to a more "vibrant" look.

basic shopping system

I added a simple shopping system to buy a second rifle with your hard earned money. In the future, I will add more items and rifles.

demoversion in this (...or next) week

I would like to share a first demo version of Waidmann in this (...or next) week, to give you an impression of the game. You can play the currently available hunting ground and use one of the hunting rifles
